Writing Freely Friday: Happiness. {a coffee date}

The mornings are starting to cool down now, the crisp little breeze that swiftly moves past me sends excitement through my bones. Excitement! I am in love. I am scared. My heart is full and I cry. The love runs deep, so deep at times unbearable. So beautiful is this love, it leaves me forgetting of the cruelty of this world. Scared, not only because of the pain and suffering that surrounds me but there is fear I will fail. I cry knowing that failure isn't possible because I am not alone. I am surrounded by his grace.

How fast moments move past us. In a mere second our thoughts have changed, emotions changed, life is ever changing. In only a short 12 weeks, entering into this world will be a little baby girl. A new daughter, a sister, a brand new love. Is love a verb or noun? In this case a noun, this little baby girl without name is known as .Love. The excitement overwhelms me it's an unbelievable thing. Growing inside my body is another soul who has gained her fragile body and will enter this world with such innocence. Innocence, lack of guile or corruption; purity. And I am to be her mother, fear overcomes me, this world full of hate and sin. I remember her sister so fair and sweet, she is pure, filled with innocence. I can do this for I know that I am not alone. Each step I take is not unknown, He: MY God, holds my hand and leads me, showing me my way. My other hand isn't empty it holds on tightly to the hand of Love's Daddy. He walks this path along with me, loving me, and keeping me sane. Teaching me something new everyday. He helps me grow and remember to be silly.

As the breeze creeps by, and the branches slowly sway I'm reminded of Fall my favorite time of the year. Many great things have happened during the fall. First there was a miracle, her name was Alexsis. Four years later, there was a marriage: a bond that will last forever. And this coming fall, I will be holding Love in my arms.(that last one makes me want to jump out of my skin with excitement)

Dear God, what is your calling for me? This week I have learned that the important things aren't about me, I have learned they aren't about numbers, it isn't about the chores and the dishes that fill my sink. My hair and clothes don't really matter. I have learned that the important thing is time, ever so flowing, leaving us only with moments. Moments that make memories, ones that live through us forever. Time well spent not worrying about the small things and letting go of all the fear. I learned that I need to fill my life with happiness and peace. This is my calling to surround myself with happiness, doing all things happily. Even to accept my moments of madness happily. My calling is to be a mother, wife, and friend. This makes me very Happy! happy happy happy... haha... I had to add that in there. I'm not trying to say that my life will always go accordingly but I want to remember to take on this calling happily knowing there will be pain and suffering and knowing I'm not alone and that I can handle it.

I hope you find happiness in your weekend!
